PROBLEM
Climbers and hikers get stranded on mountains every year, never to be found. How can sixth sense technology be applied to assist Search and Rescue personnel in finding missing persons?
SOLUTION
Rescue personnel carry a small front pack containing all of their essential equip- ment including a walkie-talkie, compass, and maps. By integrating a small ges- ture based device into this pack much of these items can be replaced reducing weight and increasing team communication, organization and speed.
